Zeke Jones

Coach Jones will take the helm of Atreus RTC, and lead the program. He bolsters an incredible international and college coaching, littered with unbelievable accomplishments. As an Olympic head coach, Jones’ athletes earned two gold medals and one bronze at the London Games in 2012. His athletes in the 2004 Athens Games, where he was the freestyle coach, earned a gold and two silvers.

In the four World Championships the U.S. competed in with Jones on the coaching staff, Team USA placed seventh in 2009, third in the 2011, and fifth in 2013. He also led the U.S. to five individual World-Champion medals, with Jordan Burroughs earning two World Champion crowns.

 The United States competed in three Freestyle World Cups during the Jones era, placing third in 2012 and 2013. With Jones at the charge, the U.S. won eight Junior World medals, five University World medals and four Cadet World medals.

Jones came to USA Wrestling after coaching at the University of Pennsylvania from 2005-07, where he amassed a record of 33-17-1. Following the 2006 campaign that saw an NCAA Champion, two All-Americans, two Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association (EIWA) champions, and a third-place finish at the EIWA Championships, Amateur Wrestling News named Jones the Rookie Head Coach of the Year.

Lee Pritts

Coach Pritts will be assisting in the efforts of Atreus RTC, he brings many coaching experiences from around the world at all age levels and styles of international wrestling. Most recently he oversaw development of Kayla Miracle, Dom Parrish, and Helen Maroulis and their 2024 Olympic run in Paris. 

He will continue imparting high level wrestling wisdom on the next generation of Olympic hopefuls at the Atreus Regional Training Center. His career has been marked by unmatched dedication to his athletes combined with high level techniques and personal development of said athletes.

Frank Molinaro

Coach Molinaro will bring passion, excitement, and a litany of technical skills to Atreus RTC.  

Molinaro imprinted his name on the international stage of wrestling. At the Olympic Trials in 2016, he ran the table as a nine seed at 65 kg, knocking off four-time World Team member Brent Metcalf, four-time NCAA Champion Logan Stieber and young phenom Aaron Pico to claim the top spot. A bronze finish at the Last Chance Qualifier and two disqualifications later secured his name into the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Jairo. 

In Rio, he would wrestle his way to the quarterfinals where he would fall to eventual silver medalist Toghrul Asgarov of Azerbaijan. He finished his Olympic run winning five of six matches to claim fifth place at 65 kg for Team USA’s men’s freestyle team. 

During his collegiate wrestling career at Penn State, he won an NCAA Championship at 149 lbs. in his final season with the Nittany Lions, capping off a perfect 33-0 record. He ended his college wrestling career as a four-time NCAA Division l All-American, a two-time NCAA finalist, and a two-time Big Ten Champion. He became just the fifth four-time All-American in Penn State’s history.

Eric Thompson

Thompson brings a wealth of RTC experience to Atreus RTC, spending four years at the Nittany Lion Wrestling Club coaching multiple senior level world champions, and medalists at all age levels. He also managed travel, fundraising efforts, and video productions for the club.

2023-24 (Redshirt junior):

• Named an NWCA Scholar All-American
• One of eight Sun Devils to qualify for the NCAA Championships
• One of six Sun Devils to earn NWCA Scholar All-American status
• Beat Dominick Serrano (Northern Colorado) in the opening round of the NCAA Championships by a 4-1 decision
• Went 2-1 at the Pac-12 Championships, helping the Sun Devils capture the 24th conference championship title in team history on March 10 in Corvallis
• Went 19-10 in his first season as a starter, appearing in 10 of the team’s 13 dual matches

2022-23 (Redshirt Sophomore:)

• Recorded a career high 10 wins his sophomore season, going 10-5.
• Went 5-2 at the midland championships with two tech fall victories
• Went 1-2 at the Keystone classic and earned a victory over Pat Phillips (Franklin & Marshall), 5-0 by decision.
• Notched two decisions at the Journeymen Classic and went 2-1 for the weekend.

2021-22 (Redshirt freshman):

• 7-6 record (2 tech falls, 1 MD)
• Competed in three open tournaments. Strongest performance was a 4-1 run at Wyoming’s Cowboy Open that featured two tech falls and two pins.

2020-21 (Redshirt Freshman):

• Went 2-2 in 65 kg at the United World Wrestling Junior tournament (Nov. 14-15)
• Picked up his first collegiate win against Zach Zeamer (Oklahoma) on Jan. 8 
• Placed sixth in 141lbs. at his first Pac-12 Championships
• Finished the season 5-3 and wrestled in two weight classes – 141/149lbs.
• Earned 2020-21 Pac-12 Honor Roll

2019-20 (Freshman):

• Ranked No. 25 in preseason poll by Trackwrestling at 141
• Earned a second place finish at 133 lbs. at Edinboro Open (2/1)

Brandon Courtney

Brandon Courtney is a prominent wrestler for Arizona State University (ASU), recognized for his achievements in the 125-pound weight class. His collegiate career has been marked by impressive performances and significant contributions to ASU’s wrestling program. Courtney has made notable appearances at the NCAA Championships, showcasing his skills on a national stage and contributing to ASU’s strong presence in collegiate wrestling.

Courtney has excelled in the Pac-12 Conference, earning titles and solidifying his reputation as one of the top wrestlers in his weight class. His consistent performance at the national level has earned him All-American honors, and an NCAA finals appearance. 

Brandon Courtney’s time at Arizona State University has been marked by significant achievements and a strong impact on the wrestling program. His dynamic style of wrestling, and strong back in freestyle wrestling will help him make an immediate impact on the international scene.

Kaleb Larkin

• In November, Larkin won the 2023 Bill Farrell Memorial International, in which he became the youngest wrestler to win his bracket. At 20 years old, the freshman captured his first Senior-level international event and punched his ticket to the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials.

Michael McGee

Michael McGee is a standout wrestler for Arizona State University (ASU), known for his exceptional performances in the 125-pound and 133-pound weight classes.

Throughout his time at ASU, McGee was recognized as an All-American wrestler, reflecting his status as one of the top competitors in his weight class. McGee is known for his technical proficiency, speed, and tactical approach on the mat. His ability to adapt and execute under pressure has been a key factor in his success

Michael McGee’s contributions to Arizona State Wrestling have been significant, both in terms of his competitive success and his impact on the program. His dedication to the sport and his achievements at ASU have set a high standard for future wrestlers and continue to influence the ASU wrestling community.

Michael joins the Atreus RTC and will be a great competitor on the international level, and tremendously help the development of Arizona State athletes. Michael also joins the Arizona State wrestling team as recruiting coordinator.

McGee recently finished 6th at the 2025 Senior US Open nationals at 61 kg in Freestyle.

Cohlton Schultz
